初学者使用腹肌轮的方法是:

在地上平放一块软垫,双膝并拢跪在软垫上,双手持健腹轮在身前,准备就绪后将健腹轮放在身前地面,双手抓住把手往前推出到极限,停顿三秒然后向身体方向回拉,然后重复此动作;五个一组,刚开始可以做四组,慢慢往上加,此间要配合呼吸,向外推出吸气,回拉呼气,向外推时吸气到极限,回拉时排空腹内大部分空气,以不影响动作为宜,并有意识地收缩腹部肌肉即可。
