芳香族伯胺和亚硝酸作用(在强酸介质下)生成重氮盐的反应称为重氮化反应。亚硝酸与无机酸和芳伯胺先反应,溶液无色;当重氮化反应过终点后,亚硝酸把碘化钾氧化成碘单质,溶液会变成蓝色。所以重氮化反应的终点是溶液刚开始变成蓝色的时候。
